April & May 2017

‘Busy’ is a word best used to describe our past two months. We launched the Netgen Layouts video and sold out Web Summer Camp! Read more.

Netgen Layouts

You can finally see in action our product developed for managing all page layouts on your website – Netgen Layouts. We wrote about Netgen Layouts when it debuted last year, and are now proud to present you the video. Watch it now and tell us what you think!

Summer Camp

After selling out the Super Early Bird tickets, April and May were the months reserved for Early Birds. However, you surprised us with your interest and we sold out Web Summer Camp 2017 mid-May!

You can find all info on the Camp, including the program, Companions tickets, and special sessions in Maja’s latest #websc blog post.

Conferences & Meetups

April and May were also months we traveled a lot. We started off by attending J. Boye Software Product Management Europe group in Basel, while our designer team went to beyond tellerrand. Read more about the conference in Hrvoje T.’s recap.

At Drupal Heart Camp Zagreb, we took part in CXO Day and Ivo held a presentation on advanced layouts and block management for Symfony-based web solutions.

PHPSerbia Conference attracted most of our backend developers, as you can see on the cover photo, while Maja enjoyed sun, sea, and digital in Budva at Spark.me.

We still have eZ Conference in June waiting for us!

Sites launched

In cooperation with our Swiss partners at Prime, a new website was launched – www.sippo.ch. SIPPO offers importers and exporters a platform for building business relations, Importers can connect with reliable suppliers and exporters can access new markets and find future business partners.

Prime was a project lead and provided the design, while Netgen consulted on UX and did both frontend and backend implementation of the website.

Community

Join us for another yearly Sylius Meetup in Zagreb! This year we have Paweł Jędrzejewski (co-founder of Sylius) & Łukasz Chruściel (Software developer at Sylius) talking about various ways of building the Sylius ecosystem with integrations and plugins. The lecture will be followed by speakers from Locastic, Netgen, and Trikoder, with Pawel’s three-hour workshop scheduled as the final meetup feature. RSVP to the Facebook event and see you on June 14!

Also, we are proud to have our Ivo chosen a member of the eZ Community Board once again!
