eZ Publish Summer Camp organized by Netgen held for the second time

70 people from more than 10 European countries joined the second eZ Publish Summer Camp held on September 4-7 in Bol, Croatia with us as the organizers.

Over the course of 3 days, 18 workshops were held in 3 tracks: for beginners (BASIC track), for experienced eZ developers (eZ track) and for developers who wanted to learn more about Symfony PHP framework (Symfony track). Special emphasis was on the new eZ Publish CMS version 5 features which are mostly based on Symfony.

  • PAUL BORGERMANS, eZ Find/Solr search engine mastermind
  • BERNHARD SCHUSSEK, core developer of Symfony Forms
  • RAYMOND JULIN, eZ Exceed lead developer from Keyteq
  • DAVID HOHL, experenced frontend and eZ developer
  • ANTONIO PERIĆ and LUKA VIDOŠ, experienced Symfony developers from Locastic
  • EKKEHARD DÖRRE and DONAT FRITSCHY, experienced eZ developers from CJW network
  • EDI MODRIĆ and IVO LUKAČ, experienced eZ developers from Netgen

On the fourth day, there was a leisure day with a boat trip to the island of Hvar, small towns of Vrboska and Jelsa in particular.
