Fresh Look for Evolution Design
The Swiss architecture and design firm Evolution Design has teamed up with Netgen to redesign the company's website and give it an appealing and easily accessible appearance.
The website was designed to showcase the wide range of projects and expertise of the architectural firm in an easily accessible manner, provide a platform for the people behind the prestigious projects, and reflect the company's character, following human-centered design approaches.
The result is a refreshingly minimalist website with an intuitive layout that makes navigation easy. Particularly, the numerous projects across various work categories are quickly accessible and skillfully highlighted through curated images.
Generous white space, a combination of typography in different sizes, image collages reminiscent of mood boards, and subtle animations contribute to a clear and dynamic aesthetic.
Ample space is also dedicated to the people behind Evolution Design and the clients whose quotes can be found throughout the website. A selection of images showcasing the team during the creative process or at events emphasizes Evolution Design's approach of "designing by people for people."

Netgen was responsible for the conceptualization, UX design, and web development. The website is built on the modular Digital Experience Solution Ibexa DXP and Netgen Layouts, an in-house product that simplifies the control of layouts and blocks.
The Netgen team has been supporting and working with Evolution Design for over 20 years and played a significant role in the digital transformation of the renowned architectural firm.

The redesigned website achieved the Silver Award in the MUSE Creative Awards, organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA). The MUSE Creative Awards is a global competition that celebrates and promotes creativity by setting a new standard of excellence in evaluating media design production and distribution.
"The competition received an impressive 6,300 entries from around the world. We are deeply impressed by the level of craftsmanship displayed in the submitted works. Our heartfelt congratulations go out to the creators behind these submissions, as they have set a remarkable standard of excellence for all to aspire to," stated Thomas Brandt, spokesperson for the IAA.
In addition to this recognition, our website has also been honored with the A’Design Award in the "Website and Web Design" category. The A’Design Award and Competition is one of the largest, most prestigious, and influential design accolades globally. This competition acknowledges outstanding and original design work submitted by architects, designers, artists, brands, and design agencies from all corners of the world.
